Operation Department

The Operations Department of the Capital Market Stabilization Fund (CMSF) is primarily responsible for the settlement of unclaimed dividends, IPO refunds, and rights shares, as well as the settlement of investors’ claims relating to delisted companies. The Department also manages communication and coordination with investors and issuer companies and ensures compliance with the requirements and directives of the BSEC and Government. 

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Operations Department is undertaking research and planning for several future initiatives aimed at strengthening and modernizing CMSF’s services. These include the introduction of a modernized dividend distribution system, automated tax challan generation, securities lending and borrowing facilities, Depository Participant (DP) operations, and other initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, investor services, and overall capital market infrastructure.

Mr. Md. Wasi Azam, Head of Operations, has served the core department of CMSF from the beginning.
